Game Data Analyst (Hypernova Games)

Hypernova Games is a studio that has been making cool games for over 5 years and together with SayGames has given the world such games as Decor Life, Dreamdale, Staff! and Rage Road.

We are looking for a Game Data Analyst to join the guys on the team, who will work closely with the CEO of the studio and be a trusted resource for all analytics issues as well as looking for opportunities to grow metrics.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

● Analysis of player behavior and key metrics;

● Assistance to the team in A/B test preparation and analysis;

● Dashboard development and maintenance;

● Assistance to the team in decision making based on data analysis;

● Analytical process optimization;

● Preparation of regular reports and presentations.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

● Experience as a Game Data Analyst / Data Analyst in gamedev from 2 years;
● Solid SQL knowledge;
● Basic Python skills (ability to understand code and write own simple scripts for analytics needs);
● Experience with Tableau;
● Good understanding in A/B test execution and analysis;
● Ability to develop and test hypotheses based on data (A/B tests, correlation analysis, cohort analysis);
● Understanding of key metrics for mobile games;
● Game analytics understanding (game economics, player behavioral patterns, engagement and monetization funnels).

Will be a plus:

● Experience with automated analytics tools like Airflow etc.;

● Experience with Clickhouse;

● Understanding of ML/AI principles;

● Event tracker customization experience on Unity;

● Creativity in solving non-trivial problems and finding insights.
